Recent Opportunities
It’s interesting how God seems to work things out. In the midst of taking “everything” away from me, I’ve found that He’s given me quite a bit… things that I’ve always wanted. Maybe it’s to put things into perspective for me– to show me that at the end of the day, music is JUST a job. Yes, He’s made me love it. Sure, it’s how He uses me, to a certain level. But it is just a job, and there are things in life that are more important– things that will last longer. So I’m thankful for this revelation. So now, maybe after it’s too late, i have my priorities in line.
In the meantime, the Sugarland show was pretty sick… 18,000 people gave me butterflies for the first time in years. I forgot how much i loved that feeling. Playing college theaters full of people who PAID their hard-earned money to listen to original music is also new to me–but it’s an exciting time in life… for however long it lasts.
